Love on Tap – Virtually – AND a LIVE celebration at the Princess Royale.
Shore Craft Beer and OCDC are hosting another Shore Craft Beer celebration in honor of FeBREWary, but this time it’s going to be virtual. If you think that’s not quite enough of a celebration, come to Ocean City for the weekend, add the party at the Princess Royale and 120+ lucky couples/families will get a chance to enjoy a “real” Shore Craft Beer Fest from their balconies.
If you’ve been to the Princess Royale, you will know that it’s oceanfront and has a huge pool inside an atrium that goes from the second floor to the top of the hotel. This atrium is also oceanfront and is ringed by hotel rooms that have balconies facing the pool. What you might not know is that the hotel’s lobby is getting a facelift to modernize and enhance touchless check-ins.
Ocean City Hotel Packages
Six or so hotels are offering packages for this event. Each offers a slightly different array of value added items, but the Princess Royale is selling rooms on their pool and oceanfront atrium. They are hosting the virtual craft beer/food pairing cook-off from 1:30 – 2:30. Then, they have hired Stealing Savannah to play for all the rooms with balconies on the atrium. The pool is open so you can enjoy that and watch the festivities too. This is a hotel package that offers a socially distanced festival inside a virtual festival.
Covid Precautions
Because now is not the time to let down our guard, Shore Craft Beer and OCDC decided that hosting a virtual craft beer celebration was a safer alternative and we are planning it to be equally fun. We want you to enjoy FeBREWary as you have come to do with our Love on Tap festival in Ocean City, but this year, we want you to do so with social distancing.
In addition, all the hotels have strict cleaning procedures in place to ensure the cleanliness of your accommodations. If you join the festivities at the Princess Royale, you can do so from the safety of your own balcony while you still enjoy the live music and exclusive online content. You can even order small bites and local craft beer designed to pair well together delivered to your room.

Craft Beer & Food Cook-off Between Breweries
Three or four breweries will be competing during a craft beer and food cook-off from 1:30 – 2:30 pm. Guests at the Princess Royale will show support for their breweries from their balconies. This will be a fun way to participate in the 2021 version of Love on Tap without crowds. We will be broadcasting this cook-off with 360 degree video online for all those who want to participate.
Live Music with Stealing Savannah Acoustic Duo
Who says you can’t dance on a balcony? The team at the Princess Royale and the staff of Shore Craft Beer and OCDC will expect you to dance and who wouldn’t when you hear the music from Stealing Savannah?! We will be broadcasting the music live as well.
Large Screens to Watch Your Exclusive Love on Tap Craft Beer Content
Every festival purchase will gain you access to exclusive online craft beer content on Shore Craft Beer. Kevin Atticks, the Executive Director of the Maryland Brewers Association will give a talk on the state of craft beer in Maryland and nationally. There will be brewery tours, beer pairing suggestions, and cooking demonstrations. You will see beer being brewed and hear from some of the most iconic of the brewers and brewery owners here on the Shore. We are still working out the details, but we know that this content isn’t available anywhere else and with a code from you ticket, you can access all this exclusive content starting at 5 pm.
If you are staying at the Princess in one of the atrium front rooms with balconies, you can watch all this content from your balconies on the big screens set up around the pool area.
