Shore Craft Beer Fest is Going Virtual for 2021
The Ocean City Development Corporation and Shore Craft Beer are teaming up to offer you a great virtual craft beer festival for the FEBREWARY 26-28 weekend. No more crowds, no more standing in line. Now it’s a new, never-been-done-before all-virtual “Love on Tap!” in Ocean City, Maryland.
Enjoy your ocean view, drink your specially curated local craft beer selection, and view virtual content only ticket purchasers can access. We will have three different six-packs available for purchase. You can buy as little or as much beer as you want. You can ev We have branded face masks and commemorative glasses for sale which you can pick up when you get your beer. Then, from 1:30 – 4:30 we will have a LIVE virtual event where you can log in to see four local craft breweries discussing their beers in your curated selections and pairing them with food in a mini cooking demonstration. This will be a competition so get ready to vote!!! There will also be live music from the Princess Royale being streamed to you, wherever you may be.
We will have the six-packs ready for pick-up on Friday evening and Saturday morning outside the Princess Royale Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland. You can drive through to pick up your beer, or you can park and come in. Details on available activities are being worked out so stay tuned.

The Princess Royale
The Princess Royale is the location for the beer pick-up Friday evening and Saturday morning. Store the beer overnight in your hotel room ready for the virtual event on Saturday. The Princess Royale will host the Live Beer Pairing show on Saturday afternoon from their atrium. Guests staying the Princess Royale will be able to view the online event live from their balconies.
THE LOCAL CRAFT BEERS
Shore Craft Beer has curated 3 different six-packs of themed local craft beer that will be available for purchase for the weekend of FeBREWary 26-28, 2021 only at ShoreCraftBeerFest.com.
LOCAL IPAS:
The first option is a selection of local IPAs. We will include hazy IPAs, double IPAs, and West Coast style. We are working on the individual beers now, but will list them on ShoreCraftBeerFest.com when we have identified all six. You can buy one six-pack or ten. It’s up to you.
LOCAL PORTERS & STOUTS:
If the winter makes you think of porters and imperial stouts, then this selection is for you. Less hoppy, just rich and flavorful, the best of the Shore’s porters and stouts will be available for you to try in this mixed selection from multiple local breweries.
MISCELLANEOUS SEASONAL LOCAL BREWS:
To round out the curated options, Shore Craft Beer has added a miscellaneous six pack. Hoop Tea is a beloved beverage from Backshore Brewing owner, Danny Robinson. We will have one can of Hoop Tea along with a mixed lot of sours and other seasonal offerings from local breweries. We will list all the options here and on ShoreCraftBeerFest.com as soon as we have chosen all of them.

Hotel Packages
Ocean City’s amazing hotels have put together packages for the weekend. Our hotels have some great deals for you! You can be part of the weekend and buy the beer without staying at one of the featured hotels, but the hotel packages are very enticing and well worth it. You can view all the available hotel packages here, and we will add more as we get them.
In addition, all participating breweries will provide a 10-20 minute video describing their included craft beer, giving a virtual tour of the brewery, and introducing the brewer to YOU, along with many other exciting bits of information!
Along with the purchase of the beer, participants can also purchase two masks and two commemorative glasses to complete their virtual craft beer weekend.
Whatever the weather, bring your loved one or friend. Get a hotel room or stay in one of our many condos. Locals can enjoy this event too. This is a weekend you won’t want to miss.
* You must be 21 to purchase beer. Please have your ID ready when you pick up your beer on Friday night or Saturday morning.
