Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats® launches its final Benevolence Beer of 2024, Good Old Fashioned Family Holiday, with proceeds benefiting Rehoboth Beach Main Street.

REHOBOTH, Del. (Nov. 19, 2024) – On Friday, Nov. 29, Dogfish Head’s Rehoboth brewpub, Brewings & Eats, is tapping into the holiday spirit with the launch of Good Old Fashioned Family Holiday (7.8% ABV). This cozy, rye winter warmer, brewed with rich cocoa and warm cinnamon, was crafted in collaboration with Rehoboth Beach Main Street (RBMS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering and promoting a vibrant, year-round, in-town experience for Rehoboth Beach businesses, residents, and visitors alike.

Good Old Fashioned Family Holiday will be available on draft for on-site consumption at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats and to-go in 4pk/16oz cans at Dogfish Head’s Off-Centered EmPOURium in Rehoboth, while supplies last.

“We hope everyone who tries Good Old Fashioned Family Holiday feels the warmth of the holiday season and the close-knit, festive spirit that fills the Rehoboth Beach community this time of year,” said RBMS President, Suzie Martin. “This collaboration brew has been a truly special experience, and we’re grateful to Dogfish Head for bringing our organizations together to create a recipe as warm and inviting as our community.”

To coincide with the launch, Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats will host benevolence nights on Dec. 4 and 18, inviting guests to dine and/or drink in support of Rehoboth Beach Main Street. Ten percent of all proceeds from both evenings will be donated to the local non-profit.

Stemming from the early days of Dogfish Head, its Beer & Benevolence® program is the brewery’s way of giving back to the communities that have nourished its roots in coastal Delaware. Dogfish Head is proud to support the great work taking place in its home state by collaborating with nonprofit organizations to build community, amplify the arts and cultivate environmental stewardship. The brewery’s Beer & Benevolence Beer Series takes its initiatives a step further, with the release of a series of four beers each year, each conceptualized and brewed with a different local non-profit and a portion of the beer’s proceeds benefiting the collaborating organization.
