On this week’s Beer with Strangers podcast Doug and Tony discuss changes in beer rules regulations and practices all over the globe. Plus, new old yeast and new old brands and a couple of pieces of big news at Xtreme Brewing as well as for Shore Craft Beer.
This week, Tony was at the Brewer’s Association of Maryland meeting where they talked about making more of an effort on the Eastern Shore. There will be more on that in a different post, but we’ll talk about it on this afternoon’s show. Here are some of the other topics:

The Brexit kink in the Bud-Miller merger
This is a little complex, but the upshot is that the deal that was made with shareholders before England voted to leave the EU got a lot worse after the vote. A deal that kind of favored larger shareholders now is a terrible one for smaller ones. The smaller ones recently won the right to vote separately. That means both the Bud shareholders and the Miller shareholders have to approve the deal again and independently.
